Massif is a successful open source project by the researchers of IncQuery Labs.
It’s a unique tool-integration technology that acts as a bridge between Matlab SimuLink and the Eclipse modelling worlds. Massif was born out of our collaboration with Embraer, the third largest airframer company in the world. The original goal of Massif was to enable model-driven engineering workflows, relying on a seamless interoperation of Matlab and Eclipse based tools.
Massif provides an automated and bidirectional synchronization mechanism.
This makes Massif a technically unique solution that is used by many companies throughout the world.
Certain avionics engineering processes frequently involve custom steps that can be impractical to apply inside the Matlab environment. These are much better supported by open tool platforms such as Eclipse. Massif provides an automated and bidirectional synchronization mechanism. It is able to convert models on the fly between an Eclipse-based tool and a running Matlab instance.
